Lorna Duyn is an actress, voice over artist and lifestyle print model born in Bangkok, Thailand and raised in Portland, Oregon. Her interest in performing arts began as a clarinetist in the 4th grade, but marching band wasn’t for her, so she switched to theatre during high school. While serving in the US Air Force at Dyess AFB, Abilene, Texas, Lorna performed in local college and community theatre productions. After her enlistment she professionally continued in Austin, Texas, then moved to Los Angeles to further her education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Commercial, print and industrial work include: USAA, Juvederm, Bristol Myers-Squibb, Qwest, Wal-Mart Asia, AAA, Amgen, Hill's Science Diet Pet Foods, and Royal Bank of Canada. For voice over, Lorna's trained in commercials and animation at Kalmenson & Kalmenson and Terry Berland and Nick Omana at VoicePrint West, promos with Jodi Gottlieb and Jeff Howell, and narration with Bill Ratner at the Don LaFontaine Voice Over Lab. Voice credits include Holt, Reinhart & Winston’s high school biology CD Rom, Nurse Charlotte for the animated movie Incurious Wondermint, and in house telephone tutorials for a Los Angeles law firm. Live narration events include Los Angeles area concerts, award shows and Veteran’s Day events. Lorna volunteers for the Screen Actors Guild Foundation's BookPALS and PencilPALS programs, and is a member of SAG-AFTRA and the US Veterans Artists Alliance.
